Higher-risk buildings and the Building Safety Act

With the Building Safety Act (BSA) 2022 now in place, the way in which higher-risk buildings (HRBs) are regulated has altered. This has been one of the most comprehensive changes in legislation for forty years.

From new gateway points, detailing a number of different steps and checkpoints to allow HRB projects to progress, to the reporting and information logging of critical information known as the golden thread, the industry has to change its ways.
