The popular BBC1 programme DIY SOS calls on Assent to act as the Building Control body on its Big Builds. This year Assent has acted on three such developments so far.
The show is into its 20th series and really values the input that Assent give to the smooth running of the work on site.
“With the build only lasting 9 days on site it is essential that all the relevant parts of the building work comply. This is where we are ideally placed as we work alongside the programme team and the builders making sure all aspects of the Building Regulations are dealt with” said Martin Conlon who acts as the lead contact. Each series has about 10-12 programmes in it and we work on nearly all of them fitting in with the site programme is a vital part of our service.
