Jamie White, a project manager at our Kent office in Margate, has just graduated from Westminster University with a 2:1 degree in Building Surveying.
Jamie gained his HNC at Canterbury College [2 years] after achieving NVQ level 2 in Bricklaying which gave him the opportunity to venture onto Westminster where he achieved BSc Hons after 3 further years of study. The course was a part time course 1 day a week for 14 hours. He lives in Broadstairs Kent so generally it took 3 hours to get to the university. He studied whilst doing a full time job and having family commitments.
He has now been accepted for an associate membership for the ABE whereby he is currently doing his Assessment of Professional Competence for the next year or so. Once this is done he will then be a fully accredited chartered building surveyor.
Congratulations to Jamie and his wonderful achievement.
