Assent Southampton is thrilled to have been appointed as Building Control the closing phase of the Boldrewood Innovation Campus development. Block D&G is a new engineering/education/office building. The project is part of the last phase of the redevelopment of the Boldrewood site which has seen a collaboration between the University of Southampton and Lloyds Register during the first phase, and forms a centre for innovation, business and education in maritime engineering and engineering sciences. Working closely with the University and architect Grimshaw, plans are currently under review and work planned to start at the end of 2015 and completing early 2018.
This is a prestigious appointment for the office and will further enhance the relationship Angela Davey has established working at the University on a wide variety of work over previous years. Assent is looking forward to working on these landmark buildings for the University.
