Assent has announced its subsidiary company, Oculus Building Consultancy, has completed the CICAIR Approved Inspector licence process successfully achieving a 5 year licence renewal.
Iain Thomson, Assent CEO said: “We’re delighted with the re-licence of Oculus Building Consultancy. We would like to send our thanks to our dedicated team for their hard work during this process, and for constantly upholding the values we stand for as an organisation. As we look ahead to the next five years, we can use this as a foundation to continue to shape the future of building control.”
Assent is England’s largest Approved Inspector, and the acquisition of Oculus in 2018 strengthened the group’s resources. The systems and people within the group have been instrumental in meeting the rigorous CICAIR criteria for its continued Approved Inspector status.
The Oculus licence renewal reaffirmed Assent’s ability to provide intelligent, insightful built environment solutions that safeguard the investments of both individuals and companies. With this in place, Assent will continue to offer a high level of service to clients, as well as strengthening the services it is able to offer in the future.
