Following the Prime Minister’s announcement yesterday, Assent Building Control will be operating remotely from Wednesday 6th January 2021. We will continue to deliver our usual high-standard of services, even though our offices will be closed during this current national lockdown.
Assent offices are part of the largest and most comprehensive national network of any Approved Inspector. Our industry-leading IT solutions mean that our network is able to deliver national coverage with local delivery. Athough it’s a busy and unprecedented time we are here to help you plan and support your projects now and moving forward.
We can still be contacted via telephone and email for all of your building control requirements and we can still conduct critical site inspections, following Building Control Performance Standards. For these we will be adhering to strict risk-assessments and our COVID-19 site inspection policy.
We will be keeping in touch with our clients regularly and will strive to avoid any delays where possible.
For quotes and new applications our service will continue as usual. For non-critical inspections, our clients are able to make use of our remote site inspection App.
